Financial advisor honored for his performance

GREENFIELD — Michael Mack, financial advisor to Edward Jones in central Indiana since 2004, was recently invited to attend the Edward Jones Managing Partner Conference, which honors the top 400 of more than 19,000 financial advisors of the company.

This is the eighth time Mack has been invited to the event.

Residential real estate remains active

HANCOCK COUNTY – The county continues to see an active residential real estate market, reports an area real estate agent.

According to the FC Tucker Company, Hancock County saw a 58.7% increase in the number of homes sold in January 2022 compared to the same period last year. Housing stock increased, up 8.5% from January 2021.

Home selling prices have risen 27.1% since the start of the year, reaching an average selling price of $301,238.

Elanco nominated for awards

GREENFIELD — Elanco Animal Health is up for two awards from a nonprofit initiative for Indiana’s tech ecosystem.

TechPoint announced that the company was nominated for two of its annual Mira Awards: Large Enterprise and Service Partner of the Year.

The crop of 76 nominees includes organizations from 14 counties, representing 17 cities. Only 12 of the nominated organizations will walk away with gear at the 23rd Annual Mira Awards Gala on Saturday, April 23. The nominees emerged from 166 entries submitted this year for the awards that recognize the best in Indiana technology.

State Accepting Business Awards Nominations

INDIANAPOLIS — The State of Indiana is now accepting nominations for the Governor’s Century and Half Century Business Awards, which recognize Hoosier companies that have been in business for at least 100 or 50 years, respectively, and have demonstrated a commitment to service. the community.
